1 onion, chopped
250 ml/8 fl oz/1 cup single (light) cream
250 ml/8 fl oz/1 cup milk
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
450 g/1 lb minced (ground) beef
30 ml/2 tbsp oil
Method :
Mix together the breadcrumbs, cornflour, onion, cream and milk and season
to taste. Transfer to a pan and cook gently over a low heat for 10
minutes, stirring well, then add the meat and stir until browned. Remove
from the heat and roll the meat into small balls. Heat the oil and fry (saute)
the meatballs for about 8 minutes until browned.
