Ingredients :
125 g dates, seeds removed and chopped
2 bananas, chopped finely
1/2 cup flaked almonds, crushed
lightly
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
60 won ton wrappers
Oil for deep frying
Icing sugar, to dust
Method :
Mix the dates, almonds, bananas and
cinnamon in a colander. Spread out the won ton wrapper and place 2
teaspoons of the fruit mixture into the center. Brush the edges of the
won ton wrapper lightly with water. Place another won ton wrapper on top
before placing them on a tray lined with baking paper. Repeat the
process for the rest of the ingredients. Do not stack the prepared won
ton on top of each other to avoid them from sticking together.
Heat up a large pan with oil until
moderately ot. Slowly add the won tons in small batches. Fry for 2
minutes or until crisp and golden in color. Remove and drain on paper
towels. Dust the won tons lightly with icing sugar before serving. |
