4 large oranges
300 ml/0.5 pt/1.25 cups double (heavy) cream
30 ml/2 tbsp orange juice
75 g/3 oz/0.75 cup walnuts, chopped
50 g/2 oz/0.25 cup glace (candied) cherries, finely chopped
50 g/2 oz plain (semi-sweet) chocolate, grated
5 ml/1 tsp orange liqueur

Method :
Cut a slice from the top of each orange and cut out the flesh with a sharp
knife. Chop the flesh and spoon it back into the orange shells. Whip the
cream with the orange juice, then stir in the nuts, cherries, chocolate
and liqueur. Spoon the mixture into the oranges and chill before serving. |
