Mocha Delight Recipe

Ingredients : Serves 4

100 g/4 oz/1 cup fresh brown breadcrumbs
175 g/6 oz demerara sugar

5 ml/1 tsp instant coffee powder
50 g/2 oz drinking (sweetened) chocolate powder
150 ml/0.25 pt double (heavy) cream

150 ml/0.25 pt single (light) cream

25 g/1 oz plain (semi-sweet) chocolate

Method :

Mix together the breadcrumbs, sugar, coffee and drinking chocolate. Whip the creams together lightly. Layer the breadcrumb mixture and cream alternately in a glass bowl, finishing with a layer of cream. Sprinkle with the grated chocolate and chill for several hours. preferably overnight, before serving.
