Chinese Cabbage with Green Beans Recipe

Miso
Hot water
Shoyu
Dry sherry
Arrowroot
Peanut Oil
Scallions, chopped
Garlic, finely chopped
Fresh gingerroot, grated
Aniseed
Sliced fresh green beans
Sliced Chinese celery cabbage
Fresh bean sprouts
A few drops of sesame oil

Method :
- Mix the miso, water,
shoyu, sherry and arrowroot. Then set aside.
- Heat the oil in a wok or
frying pan.
- Stir fry the scallions,
ginger and aniseed for 1 minute over a medium heat.
- Toss in the beans and
cabbage, turn the heat up to high and stir fry for one minute.
- Pour the liquid mixture
in, add the bean sprouts and continue to stir fry for another 4
minutes.
- Add the sesame oil just
before serving.
- Serve with plain or brown
rice.
