Barbecued Spare Ribs Recipe

Pork spare ribs

Oil for basting

Hoisin sauce

Soy sauce

Brown vinegar

Honey

Sherry

Garlic paste

Ginger paste

Red chili powder

Salt

Sugar

A pinch of powdered red food color (optional)

• Wash spare ribs and pat dry.

• Mix ingredients for marinade, rub into ribs and marinate for 6 hours.

• Grill ribs in an electric grill preheated to 220^oC for 6 minutes on each side.

• Baste with oil and serve with plum sauce.

Note : Be sure to use food color from recognized and reputed brand.
