Fried Meat Nuggets Recipe

Boneless mutton or beef
Oil
Medium onions, grated
Garlic paste
Ginger paste
Asafoetida powder
Garam masala powder
Red chili powder
Turmeric powder
Salt
Fresh tomato puree
Curd, whisked
Chopped coriander leaves
Chopped green chilies

Method :

Wash meat, pat dry and cut
into 3.5 cm cubes.

Heat oil in a non-stick
pan, add onions, garlic and ginger, and fry till brown.

Sprinkle in spice powders
and salt, and mix well.

Add meat and fry till
golden brown, stirring frequently.

Blend in tomato puree, and
fry till oil bubbles on the surface, stirring occasionally.

Stir in curd and continue
to fry till oil bubbles on the surface again.

Mix in 1 1/2 cups water
and cook till meat is three-quarters done.

Lower heat and cook,
stirring occasionally, till meat is dry.

Garnish with coriander
leaves and green chilies, and serve.
