Meat in Red Gravy Recipe

Boneless mutton, beef or pork
Oil
Large onions, ground
Garlic paste
Green cardamoms
Cloves
Cinnamon
Black cardamoms
Dried red chilies, broken into small pieces
Coriander powder
Cumin powder
Turmeric powder
Salt
Curd, whisked
Chopped coriander leaves

Method :

Wash meat, pat dry and cut
into 4 cm cubes

Heat oil in a non-stick
pan, add onions and garlic, and fry till brown.

Add meat, whole spices and
red chilies, and fry for 8-9 minutes.

Sprinkle in spice powders
and salt, and fry for a minute.

Blend in curd and cook for
7-8 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.

Stir in 1 1/2 cups hot
water, transfer to a pressure cooker and cook under pressure for
15 minutes.

Allow cooker to cool
before opening it.

Garnish with coriander
leaves and serve with bread and papad.
Note : Remove the seeds from
the dried chilies if you don't like your food too hot.
