Mutton and Coconut Fry Recipe

Boneless mutton
Oil
Large onions, grated
Salt
Chopped tomatoes
Oil
Onion, chopped
Dried red chilies
Cumin seeds
Black peppercorns
Poppy seeds
Coriander seeds
Cinnamon
Cloves
Garlic paste
Grated fresh coconut

Method :

Wash meat, pat dry and cut
into 5 cm cubes.

To prepare masala, heat 1
tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan, add chopped onion and fry till
golden.

Add remaining masala
ingredients and fry for 2-3 minutes.

Cool, grind to a paste and
set aside.

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in
a non-stick pan, add grated onions and fry till brown.

Add meat and salt, and fry
for 8-9 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Mix in ground masala,
tomatoes and 1 cup water, transfer to a pressure cooker and cook
under pressure for 15 minutes.

Allow cooker to cool
before opening.

Serve with bread.
