Ingredients :
350 g lamb fillet, chopped into small
bite-size pieces
200 cc water
3 tablespoons cooking oil
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
1 tablespoon black shrimp paste
2 red chilies, seeded, sliced finely
Spiced (ground)
6 shallots
3 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon peppercorns
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, chopped
Salt and sugar to taste
Method :
Heat a wok with oil and gently saute the
ground spices until golden brown. Add the tomatoes and meat. Stir until
the color changes. Add water, sweet soy sauce and black shrimp paste.
Cook until the meat is tender and the sauce is reduced. Add sliced
chilies, stirring frequently until cooked. Serve while still hot with
white rice.
