250 g round steak
3 scallions
3 cloves garlic, chopped finely

cups beef stock, strained and fat remove
2 tablespoons cooking oil
5 dried mushrooms, soaked and sliced
1 teaspoon hot bean sauce
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon rice wine
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Method :
Cut the round steak into small dice. Cut
the scallions into 5 cm lengths and halved into lengthways. Heat a large
pan with oil and add the beef. Stir fry until the meat is browned. Add
the chopped garlic, onions, and mushrooms. Fry for another minute. Add
the beef stock, bean suace, soy sauce and all the other seasonings
except sesame oil. Bring to the boil and turn to low heat an simmer for
10 minutes. Taste and add any extra seasoning as required. Add the
sesame oil, stir and serve hot with steamed white rice for a great meal.
