Nut and Soured Cream Eggs Recipe

Ingredients : Serves 4

1/2 lettuce, shredded
4 hard-boiled (hard-cooked) eggs, sliced

300 ml/0.5 pt/1.25 cups soured (dairy sour) cream
25 g/1 oz chopped mixed nuts

15 ml/1 tbsp chopped parsley
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Wholemeal or granary bread, to serve

Method :

Arrange the shredded lettuce on individual plates and arrange the egg slices on top. Mix the cream with the nuts and parsley and season to taste with salt and pepper. Spoon the sauce over the eggs and serve with slices of wholemeal or granary bread.
