Method :

Soften tofu sticks in cold
water for 2 hours.

Cut into 3 cm pieces.

Remove skin from garlic
and then chop finely.

Halve green pepper, remove
stem and seeds, then cut into 2 cm squares.

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in
a wok.

Stir-fry chopped garlic
until fragrant.

Add hot bean paste.

Add tofu stick, soy sauce,
sugar and 1/2 cup water.

Cover with a lid.
-
Braise over low heat for
10 minutes.

When stock is absorbed,
add green pepper.

Stir-fry until green
pepper is cooked.
-
Sprinkle with sesame oil
for serving.
Note : If you need to use
tofu sticks in a hurry, place it in hot water and bring to a boil.
Switch off the heat and continue to soak in the hot water. Use when
it is soft.
